About Us
Mecha Masters Robotics is FIRST Tech Challenge Team 31772, a student-led team of middle and high school students passionate about designing, building, and coding competitive FTC robots. With a CAD-first design mindset, we create original robot designs, prototype, test, and iterate to improve performance each season.
Beyond competition, we focus on teamwork, innovation, integrity, curiosity, inclusivity, and perseverance. Our members learn real-world engineering and programming skills while giving back through community STEM outreach, demos, and mentoring younger students.
On this site, you can explore our robotics journey, meet the team, follow our progress in the FTC season, and find ways to support or partner with Mecha Masters Robotics.

Our Mission
To explore robotics through engineering and teamwork, inspire young minds to design bold solutions, and create an inclusive culture where STEM is accessible to everyone.
Our Values
-
Innovation & Integrity: Driven by a commitment to ethical solutions and constant improvement.
-
Curiosity & Inclusivity: Strengthened by a thirst for knowledge and a welcoming environment for all.
-
Perseverance & Community Impact: Dedicated to overcoming challenges and creating lasting positive change.
Our Robotics Journey
Mecha Masters began their Robotics journey in 2020 when few 3rd grader friends from Basis Independent Fremont discovered robotics through LEGO Brick Fest, followed by nonstop builds and LEGO playdates through the pandemic.
They officially entered FIRST LEGO League in 2021 and grew year after year, earning awards like Motivate/Problem Solvers Award (2022), Core Values Award (2023), and Innovation Project Award (2024), plus standout recognition at Regionals for team spirit and outreach (2024, 2025).
In 2025, Mecha Masters reached a major milestone—winning 3rd Place NorCal Champions, advancing to the Asia Pacific Open Championship in Sydney, Australia - earning 2nd place in the Team Alliance Competition, and being named one of the Top 10 most popular booths.
With that momentum, they leveled up into First Tech Challenge for the 2025–2026 season, bringing their CAD-first, team-first mindset to their first FTC competition!
